Rainbow Winter (Peg Doll) Faerie

For 'L''s birthday I wanted to do something

Sweet, Steiner, Special

I adapted Anna Branford's simple knitted hat pattern

to fit this peg doll.

I used acrylic paint and a skewer, to paint on the face.

And wrapped a piece of matching wool felt, secured with glue.

I used the same wing pattern template, I created for my felt dragonfly.

And the felt I used, is an extremely special piece I hand-dyed with friends, using natural vegetable dyes from Botanical Colors.

I think I accomplished what I set out to do.
